OP_FS_373_04/25 The Riddet Institute is a world-best research centre in food and nutritional sciences, providing fundamental scientific understanding and training for a new generation of science leaders. The Institute integrates partner organisations (Massey University (host), Auckland and Otago Universities, AgResearch and Plant & Food Research) and disciplines, leading a “NZ Inc” approach to food research, and generates knowledge and capability that transforms the New Zealand food industry. The successful candidate will conduct pioneering research to understand the digestion behaviour of various food products using in vitro dynamic digestion models. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams across the CoRE programme to enhance our understanding of the relationships between food structure, digestion, nutrition, and health. Salary will be aligned with Research Officer range, $81,172 - $103,595 (2024 range), commensurate with skills and experience.
